Suzuki SV1000 2004 (54) Grab a pre-bike season bargain!

2004 (54 plate) Suzuki SV1000. In Orange 

On a private plate that came with the bike. which will be sold on the bike.

20347 miles

It’s got a full service history with it and has been maintained well whilst with me. with Stiano's of Harrogate.

Recently had a new chain and sprockets fitted

Recently had its Major service including valve clearances done

Never broken down or had any issues with it.

Datatool alarm system removed last service owing to the fact it developed a life of its own and drove me mad.

MOT till July 2015

Its been used for commuting. so its not perfect. but considering its been out in everything. and taking in to account its age. its looking good. Those scratches or scuffs on it were caused by the previous owner. I have detailed below.  

There are quite a lot of paint chips on the grab handle on the rear of the bike. i really don't understand how the previous owner managed it.

There are scratches to the exhausts in places and a mark on the nearside front end of the exhaust that again. was there when bought.

There are a couple of chips in the paint on the petrol tank. which were there when I bought the bike.   They haven’t worsened.

Slight scuff to headlight lens

Regularly washed down after a salty ride and metal work polished on a regular basis.

Fuel economy is good. gets me 150 miles to a tank when ridden sensibly

Never been thrashed and never taken on track days.

The bike is still being used and so mileage may differ. but not greatly.

Genuine reason for sale:

My wife has taken a community post and will require full time use of our only car to do it.  Therefore. as I would be unable to pick up our children on the Motorbike (i cant find a side car that will fit. !) then the bike has to go and be replaced with a 2nd car.

Personal inspection can be arranged if required.   First to see will buy it.
