suzuki gsxr 750 j slingshot 1988

GSXR 750 J 1988 slingshot E reg  fitted with 750 L long stroke engine (mileage unknown) 

I rebuilt this bike last year from a collection of QUALITY parts I had been gradually saving up.  These bikes are becoming increasingly hard to get hold of and so are the parts!!

It has only been ridden back from the MOT centre and drives nicely. due to being very busy with my work I have not got the time to use it so it must sadly go!

The engine has been removed sand blasted and repainted

standard genuine bodywork repainted in lucky strike colours (I have not finished putting the stickers on and don't have time either) it should then be lacquering to protected the stickers!

The carbs are Mikuni 38mm slingshot carbs with newly fitted DYNOJET STAGE 1-3

Rear wheel is from an 1100K

Rear shock is from a 100K5

The Swing arm is 750WN banana arm

NISSIN brakes from my 1100M with new braded hoses & new pads

race billet tank cap

new oil and filters

new spark plugs

new coils and leads

new bulbs

new battery

new mirrors with built in indicators

wheels have also been repainted and fitted with DUNLOP 207 RACE TYRES which have had very little use

Micron exhaust 4-2-1

front seat needs recovering but I do have a rear seat and cowling to suit and a few other bits that are spare

I will throw in a new set of ohlins fork springs if the bike sells for enough but you will have to have them installed yourself!

a great combination of parts that hugely improve the handling braking and ride of this fantastic machine. grab the opportunity before I change my mind!
