I bought this bike a few months ago with great plans to fix it up over winter and ride in summer. As so often happens I never had the time to do it so sadly it has to go. I'm sure it would be an excellent project for someone with the time and knowledge and a great fun bike when it's done. I am selling it as a non-running restoration project. It had been standing for a couple of years before I bought it. I will do my best to describe in as much detail as I can. The good bits;It appears to be complete and unmodified (apart from the headlight). The frame paint is in quite good condition as is the tank paint. The tank has no visible rust on the inside. The electrics seem to be all basically all there and all work apart from front brake light switch and headlight bulb. It has had a new battery. The V5 is present and in my name. It has two genuine Suzuki keys which fit all the locks. Very low mileage (this is in kilometres as this is a Japanese bike registered in this country in 2004). Both brakes seem to work and the callipers are not seized. All control cables work OK . The tyres look useable and the tubes hold air. It has a full stainless standard exhaust. The Not so good bits;It doesn't run. It turns over on the starter motor but does not fire. It seems to have good compression and a spark so I am assuming it could be carb related. I have no idea of the mechanical state of the engine. It could do with a new seat cover. The headlight is not standard and does not fit correctly as the rubber straps are to long. I don't see why they could not be shortened. It is not connected but all the wiring is there and there is power to it. The plastics have gone dull and the decals are a bit rough. They will need some tlc to make them look OK. As it has been standing for some time a lot of the fasteners are rusty. Please examine the photos carefully. I have tried to show everything. Cash on collection please. Please email me with any questions or if you would like to come and have a look at the bike. HAPPY BIDDING!

Therefore I cant answer any questions about the condition of the engine. apart from the fact that it turns over. the clutch seems to engage and disengage when you put it in gear and push it. and you can feel it has compression when you turn the back wheel with it in gear. Other than these things I am afraid that the engine is a bit of a gamble.
