Suzuki SV650 Registered in Spain in 2009, road legal in EU until June 2015

My son bought this lovely little bike in November 2012 for general transport from the original owner whilst he was teaching English in Mallorca. Whenever we went to visit. we serviced and 'test rode' it on trips around the island. It had been very well looked after by the previous owner and only routine servicing was ever required. Back in August 2014. a surprise job came up back in London. giving him just 28 days to move back. He advertised the SV locally but was unable to find a buyer in the time frame so we brought the bike back via the ferry to Barcelona. then through the tunnel back to Folkestone. All the Spanish paperwork is in order so the bike is still road legal in the EU until June 2105. although it has been sat in my garage in Wiltshire since December. If it does not sell as Spanish registered. now that he is approaching the end of the probationary period of his job and so is unlikely to be returning to Spain to live in the near future. we will register it here and my son will probably continue to use it throughout our much shorter motorcycling season.
