The bike was imported from the United States in April 2014 and has undergone a full restoration by the previous owner. All import duty and tax has been paid and the bike is now regiestered with the DVLA for use in the UK and has a current MOT certificate that expires on the 24/10/2015.

The Canyon Red paintwork has been completed to a very high standard. I have an invoice that shows the paint itself cost ?120.  Most parts have been rechromed. I have invoices for chrome plating totalling over ?850. front and rear mudguards. rear lamp bracket. kickstart. selector lever. handlebars. exhausts and more have all been rechromed to a high standard. The exhausts are original Suzuki parts and are in excellent condition with no dents . The original Takasago wheel rims have also been rechromed and rebuilt with NOS spokes by Ken Ayres.  The bike has an aftermarket master cylinder fitted. this was fitted by the previous owner. the original master cylinder is included in the sale but will require restoration before it can be used. This is a great looking bike that has had many NOS parts. including headlight rim. rear footrests. spokes. engine case emblems. grips. assorted fixings/clamps and more. I have a folder full of invoices that total over ?1700. The bike has new period tyres fitted and a new seat cover.  

The engine was rebored and had new pistons fitted by David Cowell (See his YouTube channel) who is well known for rebuilding two stroke triple engines. Before the rebuild the engine cases and cylinders were vapour blasted  and the carburettors and their components were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt with new gaskets and fuel hose.  The bike is fitted with the original airbox that has been restored and the air filter foam was replaced with a new one from RamAir filters. The original vacuum operated fuel tap has been ultrasonically cleaned and works perfect. and the standard points ingition has been replaced with an electronic system by Newtronics. The original points plate is included in the sale. The engine starts first kick and runs perfect.
