Up for sale is my beloved GT185. I’ve spent a lot of time and money restoring this bike from what was a solid bike but was in a bit of a sorry state. I stripped the bike down completely and carried out full nut & bolt restoration using NOS parts where I could get hold of them. All bearings and seals were renewed. There are only 2 problems that I know about the bike and these are that there is slight bubbling of the paint on the tank (hardly noticeable) and sometimes it misses a gear going from 2nd to 3rd if the revs aren't right (this may be just an adjustment needed to the gear change linkage). Bike runs well and starts off the electric start.
I'm not getting out on the bike. I need the space in the garage for my other bikes and it needs to go to someone who can get out on it and use it like it should be. I've only done 28 miles on the bike since I last had it MOTd last May.
I've got loads of information about these bikes including original owners manuals and microfiches of all the parts (very useful if you need to identify something for the bike).
Get yourself a bargain and get a piece of history that people will talk to you about when you go out on it.
Bike is in Plymouth. Devon. any viewing welcome. If you need any more information then please ask.

Loads more pictures of the strip down and rebuild if you want to see them.
