1978 Suzuki GS750E

With how popular these bikes are getting. its surprising how few out there are in good. untouched shape! I am selling this for my father. It has been his for a while. and we are finally getting him on a more modern sport bike. The sale of this will help to push his new build along. My father has been a GS guy for as long as i can remember. between 750's. 1100's. and a few 7/11's. He was really happy when he found this bike. and he has enjoyed it!The good:Bike is in really decent. unmolested condition. Has new battery. and new Pirelli tires. Fork seals are good. all lights work. Gauges work. Seat is fantastic. with no tears. Even the small trunk inside the tail is still in good shape. I tried to get a pic inside the gas tank. as there is no rust. Pic isnt the clearest. A few nicks in the paint. 1 on the tank and 1 on the tail. as seen in pics. Bike is 90% original. Bars have been changed and mirrors removed. I still have mirrors. Bike also has aftermarket exhaust. I still have original exhaust. in fair condition. Chrome is ok on original exhaust. but someone removed baffles at some point. Still has factory airbox. but i do have K&N individuals that can go with it. Bike has clean title. Notarized and ready to go. Bike comes with a Clymers manual. I halso have a nearly complete parts bike that can go with this one. This can be discussed!The bad:The center 2 carbs need to be rebuilt. The floats drain down when the bike is off. as if they are sticking up. Motor needs rings. Compression is low. but low across all 4 cylinders. within 10% or so of each other. But bike runs. rides. doesnt smoke. etc. No ugly noises. oil looks good. I will not ship the bike. If buyer is local. buyer can absolutley come and pick it up. or I can deliver (within reason). I will also gladly make myself available to assist the buyer's shipping company. if so required.
