Description

1980 Suzuki GL 750L. First year for the GSX Engine codes. and First Year for Roller Crankshaft Bearings. I've owned this bike since 1994. rode it for two seasons. and put it in storage for the next 13 years. Around 2007 I re-registered it and planned on a complete restoration. but never got around to it. Starts. Runs great. and rides well. but this bike will need some work before its ridden. Will need front tire before being ridden. new clutch cable. and Tachometer cable. although the tach does not function properly. Missing the retaining clip and bolt for the tach cable. occasionally available for a few bucks on ebayValves adjusted properly. new gaskets. Brand New ElectroSport Regulator AND Stator !! If you're looking at this bike. then you already know how much those items cost. Bike charges 100 percent. and the ES Stator/reg setups will not burn out like factory units. since they no longer feed voltage through the headlight switch. Runs well though. pulls strong. as it should. and is mostly stock except for the stack/filter. I did purchase a complete original airbox setup. which is included in the sale. Gauge covers were stolen at some point and will need to be replaced. This a great opportunity to get a solid. running cold blooded dinosaur. Although it's an L model. the engine is the same as the E models. except camshafts. and the same engine as the first year gsxr's. Great for a restoration project that you can actually ride confidently while working on it. My loss is going to make someone very happy. Fire Sale . I need mortgage money. I can not ship this item. so please do not ask. I will be happy to accommodate the winning bidders shipping arrangements. and/or can help load this bike when picked up. 100 dollar non refundable deposit due after auction. and i would prefer the balance in cash at the time of pickup. but will take paypal for full amount if you insist.
