Suzuki GT500 two stroke twin

Up for sale is a 1976 GT500A. Two stroke. two cylinder. air cooled. oil injected. 5 speed. front disc. rear drum. This bike is in very good condition. I am the third owner and have owned it for 4 years. This bike has been professionally maintained and well kept. Within the last 2. 00 miles. the carburetors have been ultrasonic cleaned and rebuilt. new fuel lines. new carb mounting boots and clamps. new air box to carbs boot. new air cleaner. new chain and sprockets. rebuilt front brake master and caliper. new front brake line. new tires and tubes. new seat cover. upgraded halogen headlight. upgraded PowerDynamo high output stator and ignition kit ($500 kit! This kit replaced the stock ignition coils. cdi unit. stator. flywheel. and regulator to provide 180 watt stator output for brighter headlights) Brand new battery. I have done alot of work on this classic and have enjoyed riding it. but a new baby at home forces sale. This is a great original 39 year old motorcycle. it is not restored. With that being said. it is not a 100 point show bike either. It has all original paint and chrome. there are a few minor scratches here and there. the rear fender is cracked near the mounting bolts. the chrome is not perfect. the left pipe has some acid staining on the top and inside edge. paint on the frame is chipped. etc. It runs and drives great. all it needs is a new home.
