one adult owner suzuki Hayabusa

I am selling my 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa blue and silver. I bought this bike new in 2001 right of the showroom floor. It has been garaged all its life . I have added several aftermarket parts to the bike and have a few extra parts I will include.

I used to work at a Suzuki dealership andhad all major services done by the lead tech.
Not installed and never installed on this bike are an air shifter and a nitrous set up. (I received several parts from a guy that owed me some $ some I installed others I did not). All included in sale.

The bike has under 10,000 miles that = less than 1,000 miles a year.

I rode the bike every season (until this year)and the battery is always on a tender (included in sale)

The reason I am selling is that I have very little time to ride 3 small kids will do that. I also have a bad back and knee so ridding is a little tough on me now.
The bike is turn key and I rode it a few miles on Saturday 7-4-15. It will need tires as the tires on it are 10 years old. They don't have any dry rot but are defintly feeling a little slippery.
I love this bike it was the first bike I ever bought new. I have babied it the entire time I have owned it. I love the power it has I also love that you can ride it all day and be ready for more. Its at home at 35 mph as well as 135mph. These bikes are great all around every day rider or track day bike.

In 2001 this was the fastest production motorcycle you could buy in fact it was so fast they had to govern the top speed to 181. It took Kawasaki another 5 yrs to beat it with the zx14.

I have eliminated the top speed governor with the atre it also sets the timing curve so that timing is optimized in every gear instead of just 2nd gear. The power commander is fully adjustable for maximum power but I was only able to afford 1 pull on the dyno it currently has 158hp at the rear wheel. You could get more power out of it with some more tweaking. It idles nice and has a smooth power curve. These bikes really pull when you twist your right wrist.

I bought it because I found it more comfortable than the r1 I was looking at and I have never regretted it.

Bottom line this is a super nice bike and I hate to sell it. Unfortunately at thistime in my life Ihave to. The buyer of this bike will not be disappointed.
