1981 Suzuki GS550T Motorcycle

For sale a 1981 Suzuki GS550T. This is a wonderful first motorcycle for someone or, ith a little bit of work, t could become a great bike for years to come. Since I've owed this bike I have done much of the work on it that should have been done by the previous owner, ncluding: new tires, ew battery, ew chain, ebuilt the carburetor, ew rubber intake boots, witched to electronic ignition, ll the various lights are new, eplaced the regulator rectifier with a more reliable Honda model, ired in a switch to bypass the old ignition wiring, ew plugs, ew throttle cable, ew clutch cable, ew choke cable, ebuilt the fuel pet cock, nd of course, have changed the oil and filter every year I have owned it. I have also, or every time I take out one of the Japanese phillips bolts, 've replaced it with a brand new stainless steel hex bolt. Currently, he bike runs very strong while it is running, owever, t can be a little difficult to start at times. I believe it needs a tune up. You will also note in one of the pictures that there is some electrical tape on the front master cylinder reservoir. That was on it when I got it, nd the bike has stopped incredibly well since I've had it, o I decided to leave well enough alone. I also have the left side cover, t just needs to be glued back together. Additionally, ou will notice the safety bars on the front of the bike, hich protect the engine in the event of laying the bike down or getting it knocked over. This bike is very much fun to drive, t can rev really high, ut at the same time it can be a pleasant and quiet bike in the city at the low revs. If you have questions or need more pictures, eel free to contact me.
