Suzuki DR250S Classic Enduro

Here is my Suzuki DR250S Enduro Motorcycle.

I bought it over 12 months ago with the intension of restoring it but due to a change in circumstances I am unable too.

Before I purchased it it was used as a field bike for just messing about on then left in a garage for a few years.

When I got it the tyres were flat the exhaust was falling apart the front brake was seized and the clutch was slipping (a bit of a sorry state).

Over the past 12 months I have put new FIM road legal endure tyres on it replaced the exhaust with one from an RM250F with an extra baffle so not too loud but looks really nice. Fitted new renthal handlebars. I have de-seized the front brake so it's working fine. I have also installed a complete new clutch and at the same time did an oil and filter change.

The seat is ripped and the frame has surface rust but nothing structural. now I have got to this point if I was going to continue with the project I think the next step for me would be to completely strip it down and get the frame painted and the seat re-covered.

It is the S model so has the original upside down front forks and No battery to worry about. It starts really well 2nd or 3rd kick whether it's hot or cold and it doesn't matter how long it is left it will still start and run just as well either way.

I haven't sent off for the V5 yet as I planned on getting it re-painted and ready for the MOT first but a written receipt will be provided on request. /p>

It will make a excellent bike for someone who has the time to finish it. /p>
