Suzuki ap 50 scooter 50cc 70cc Blue 2001 reg

Hello and welcome to my auction. Here I have a 2001 reg Suzuki ap 50 for sale. Its in good condition for the year. I have very recently done a fair bit of work to this as follows. New bigger 17. 5mm carburettor. 70cc big bore kit. new ngk spark plug. new battery. new exhaust. new drive belt. refurbished variator. re-upholstered seat. fresh gear oil. new fuel and oil pipes. and it has a full tank of premium fuel. The bike runs and drives perfectly. it does need a new speedo cable. as anything over about 25mph doesn't seem to register correctly. I have the new part ready to fit. and will be included in the sale. The logbook had to be applied for as the last owner had lost it. and it came back showing the bike in pink. as this was the original colour. this simply needs changing when the logbook is filled in with the new owners details. its free to change colour. There are a few marks here and there. a crack in the front panel near the speedo. but not visable unless you look underneath. I bought the bike as a bit of a project. some fun over the summer and to get me to the shops etc. which it has done very well. always starts either on the battery. or kick start if its been sat for a bit (as all bikes do) I'll give the battery a good charge up before sale. At the minute it does about 45mph with me on it (I'm a big guy) but would possibly do 50mph with a lighter rider. One thing that's holding the speed back at the minute is the exhaust. I needed one urgently and could only get a standard restricted exhaust. It needs a de restricted exhaust and a 10% upjet to finish the tuning ideally. then it would do 50-60mph comfortably. A reluctant sale. but it will only sit in the garage if I don't sell. so seems a waste when it could be out there being enjoyed my someone else. Mot expires jan 2015. and thanks to the new silly road tax laws. of course I cannot include the tax (£17 per year) Any questions please ask. the bikes located in great bircham. kings lynn.
