2003 SUZUKI GSF 600 SK3 BANDIT, YELLOW STREET FIGHTER - SUPERB

Description

This is a superb Suzuki Bandit - often described as the best first proper bike but it is so much more than that.

It is an economical commuter and great fun at the weekends.

This bandit is well maintained. always kept in the garage and regularly serviced.

I've ridden it almost every day for three years and it hasn't missed a beat. so I know it is completely reliable.

Someone will get a real bargain.

 

The MoT is due in April 2015 and the Tax is good to June 2015.

 

It has a new clutch. plenty left in the brakes and the Michelin Road Pilots are good.   It had a new battery last winter.   It has heated grips. a Micron exhaust. a Scotoiler so the chain is in good condition. engine crash bars. xenon headliamp bulbs. nbsp;alpha-dot security and a laser-line alarm immobiliser.   I've upgraded the seat with good foam and a custom cover and can now ride for over 3 hours without a sore backside (it's only about 40 mins with the standard seat).   Under the seat is the original tool kit and a 12V socket for a sat nav.

 

I have the original user manual and most of the service bills.

The paintwork is in good nick with just a few small stone chips. Some paint has recently lifted off the engine and I haven't yet found the correct paint to fix it with.   I do have an unopened pack of undercoat. colour and lacquer for the yellow but haven't needed to use it.

 

Suzuki only sold the pearlescent yellow in 2003 and this is an outstanding example.

 

I've really enjoyed owning this bike but now I want something a bit bigger - I hope I won't regret selling it. If collection is an issue. I could probably ride over to you if you would cover my train fare back to Southampton
