1981 SUZUKI SP 500 ENDURO(VERY NICE ORIGINAL CONDITION) RUNS GREAT! BIG THUMPER

Now here is a bike you don't see every day!! Suzuki came out with this bike to combat the Honda XL500s and actually they are very much the same,both in looks and in performance. The bike runs great and has no leaks(fixed a head gasket leak last week). Cosmetically it is not pristine but I feel it is darn good condition for it's vintage!! The tank is clean inside and has not been sealed or coated,so you don't have to worry about carb problems. This bike is kick start only but does have a compression release that works really well,and makes it easy to start with a couple of good kicks. The bike is a torque monster and really likes to wheelie if your not carefull with the clutch. The seat seems to be original and in good condition. The exhaust is bone stock and has a nice mellow tone to it(no rust thru or dents) I just purchased a new 6 volt batt(although this bike will run with no battery at all) The front tire is a little weather cracked so i am including a new front tire with the auction. The bike does have aftermarket shocks on it presently but i do have the original black ones also. I also just replaced the tachometer cable with a new factory one. She shifts/brakes and handles great. This bike would make an excellent commuter or cabin bike. I have a clear title and can help with loading the bike.
