I'm selling my GS500 EX as I hadn't been using it much and have now bought a car.

I had over the summer been using it to commute a short distance. but sadly over the last 3 months its developed a few things that need attention. Its road taxed until Nov but with the new road tax rules not sure if this is transferable with the bike anymore.

The good parts:MOT valid until March 20th 2015Fitted a new Motobatt gel battery last autumn. Starts up and engine runs just fine. Only about £20 to fill the tank -- pretty economical bike. Tax and insurance fairly low too. New starter solenoid fitted this spring. New fork seals (outer and inner) and fork oil changed last year.

As far as I know and can tell. it hasn't been modded. everything is standard Suzuki.

Bits that need attention:The fuse intermittently blows. I don't know what's causing it. and have had the solenoid changed by a garage but it still blows every now and again.

Chain is a bit worn.

Left speedo/odometer is not working. It hasn't been ridden on the road since then so the mileage is accurate (can prove its pretty close with the MOT from this spring).

Seems to have a slow puncture on the front tyre.

Some spots of rust mostly on the frame but this is really common with this model bike. Its surface only.

The front mudguard has a strange sort of heat mark in it. and the odometer plastic cover underneath has been taped up. as can be seen in photo.

Bike is located in Somerset near Taunton. Any questions please let me know. There is a bit of service history and a Haynes manual to go with the bike.
