Up for auction is my Suzuki GSXF600. I bought this bike last year after a return to motorcycling at the ripe old age of 52. this was my first big bike and I have enjoyed owning it. but at the moment I am not using it at it is just sat in the garage gathering dust and I don't think I will be getting another bike before next spring. The M. O. T and tax ran out this month. so they will both need renewing. it sailed through the M. O. T last year with no advisories. this year it may need a new rear tyre as it looks close to the limit and the main beam headlight bulb needs replacing as this has blown twice this year. I don't think there is a major problem with the electrics as this is the only bulb that has blown. There is an oil leak that I have noticed but can't see where it is coming from. but again it doesn't seem major and there is a small issue with the side stand engine cut off switch. you sometimes have to move the sidestand up and down if the bike won't start. this only happened after I had the clutch cover housing replaced. so could just be a lose wire or a faulty switch. The mileage showing is around 47. 00/48. 00 but this is not warranted as the previous owner put replacement speedometer on the bike at some time. The log book states that the bike was registered by a sole importer when it was first registered. but I don't think it has been used or registered overseas. I did an HPI check when I bought it and that was fully clear. I also have an HPI certificate from a dealer who the previous owner bought the bike from and that shows all was clear. I haven't had the bike out for two or three months. but will try and get round to starting it up this week so it's up and running for its new owner. If you are looking for your first big bike or returning to motorcycling after a long lay off this is an ideal bike. It has plenty of power. but not too powerful. the riding position is comfortable and the fuel consumption is very good at around 50 M. P. G. Any questions please feel free to contact me and happy bidding.
