Suzuki Intruder VL1500X. S-reg (1999)

I am happy to offer for sale this very handsome machine with just over a genuine 33200 miles on the clock. I am the 2nd owner and I purchased the bike from "Warehouse Motorcycles" in Surrey. It has been regularly ridden. maintained and stored under cover in a dry. warm garage.  The bike comes with all the relevant paperwork. MOT certificates. etc.  

This bike was imported into the UK in 1999 as "Metallic Silver / Candy Satin Black".

Battery box. bulbous side panels and steering head front plates have been chrome plated.

This bike also comes with the following accessories:

- Original exhausts. - 'Beach Bar' handlebars. - Hydraulic full-lift jack. - Leather saddle bags plus L&R support frames. - Electric switch gear (spare). - Maintainer/Charger. - Luggage rack.

Last Last year it had a new battery and both tyres are virtually unworn. The previous year. its headstock bearings were renewed. A previous owner had the seat slightly visually customised with a very attractive 'marbeling' on the sides and back and a gold custom pinstripe on paintwork. All minor fixtures have been replaced by polished stainless steel caphead bolts and nuts.  The seat is wider than other cruisers. giving the rider a more comfortable position than similar machines.

This bike and myself have been featured on British TV in a "After You've Gone" scene with Nicholas Lyndurst and which definitely adds to the provenance. The 'Youtube' clip is:

Along with all its accessories. it is safely stored in Fawkham. near Brands Hatch motor racing circuit in Kent. UK and is of course viewable by appointment.

I obtained my bike licence at 55 years of age and it was also my very first motorbike! Its balance. size and weight are perfect. making this an excellent investment for a 'first-time' motor cyclist who wishes to go straight to the top. I strongly feel that this bike will offer many more years of happy biking.     I have always cosseted it and been very proud to ride it and it has always been somewhat of a head turner and outshines many of the more well-known bikes with a cult following!
