Description

Before you pass on this bike because of the Vetter fairing - please read on. I have all the parts necessary to put the bike back in stock condition (headlight assembly and signals), nd at the buyer’s discretion I will do so, r leave it the way it is and provide the stock parts with the bike. I bought this bike with the intension of removing the fairing as soon as I got it home. However, fter a couple of rides on the bike with the fairing installed I realized that it is just so comfortable that I couldn’t bring myself to take it off. Besides, he fairing doesn’t look so bad when you’re in the saddle.

The bike is a beautiful 1983 Suzuki GS850G in two tone blue with just over 11,000 miles. I purchased the bike from the original owner this spring. It has been garaged its entire life. Cosmetically the bike is beautiful. The paint is perfect and not faded at all. The tank has no dings, ents or scratches and is clean, ust free metal inside. The side covers have no cracks or missing tabs. The fender has no dings in it. The chrome shines nicely and the exhaust has no dings, crapes, oles or road rash. The seat is perfect.

The bike starts, uns, rives and stops just as it should with no mechanical issue whatsoever. Everything works - lights, ignals, auges, ndicator lights, ear position indicator, orn - everything. I have addressed the two main issues that these bikes had when they were new. It has a brand new voltage regulator/rectifier, nd I raised the carburetor jet needles 1.0mm which eliminated the lean running and slow warmup that these were noted for. It now charges correctly and the carburetion is spot on, mooth and has no hesitation at all. The air box has a new stock air filter. I installed a new clutch, iction and driven plates, ecause the original clutch was getting a little “grabby”. The clutch actuation is now smooth and linear. It also has a new set of fork seals, new rear tire and just had the valves checked.

This bike doesn’t leak or drip anything. It has a fresh oil change and filter. The oil in both sections of the final drive is fresh. It has new plugs, ew brake fluid and a new fuel petcock. This bike honestly does not need anything.

The bike comes with the stock tool kit and owner’s manual. I have a clean, lear title in my name. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I may deliver within about 200 miles of zip code 14472 for a nominal fee.

I think that covers everything but if you have any other specific questions (or want to trade me your real nice GT750) please send me a note and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
