Suzuki RM 400 T 1980

This is my RM 400 T.

I bought this bike from VMX. Yorkshire. last year. I raced it at Farleigh Castle in 2013.

The forks have been re-sprung. and new seals added. Brand new YSS PD Fork Valves which give that progressive and controlled feeling of a cartridge fork.

Brand new piggyback YSS rear shocks. with 60 settings.

The exhaust was brand new  in 2013 and it's a pro-form racing pipe. It has a DG silencer on it which was brand at the same time.

The complete engine was redone in 2013. New clutch.

New front and rear wheel bearings.

New swinging arm bearings.

New headstock bearings.

New seat cover.

The wheels have been anodised gold.

The side plastics have got a little bit of wear on the sticker kit. where I raced it last year.

I have various spare parts. like original side plastics. rear mudguard plastics. and quite a few engine parts.

The reason I bought this bike was because it was one of the most original bikes I'd seen. all the bits and pieces were on it. But I made all the modifications to make it handle a lot better.

This bike was only raced once which was at Farleigh Castle last year.

It's everything you want from an RM 400 - it's spotless. apart from the odd scratch here and there.

This is advertised elsewhere. so I can remove the bike from this auction at any time.
