Description

Suzuki Burgman AN400 scooter with ABS brakes; fully loaded. Excellent condition. Gets about 60 miles per gallon depending on how you ride. I'm the second owner; I bought it two years ago with 4. 00 miles on it. Clear title in hand and I have maintenance records from myself and previous owner. Defects: Very slight pencil eraser-sized mar on the dashboard and the Givi windscreen has a corner crack that was repaired with Weld-On plastic cement. Accessories:Givi Maxia Monokey E52 top caseAdmore lighting upgrade (This makes the brakes and the turning signals on the top case really stand out)Grab on grip coversGivi Airflow windshield (You can adjust the height of the wind screen)Throttlemeister heavy (cruise control and heavy bar ends helps make ride smoother)CoverI?ˆ™ve had lots of inquiries about this scooter. so I?ˆ™ll give a little side information with this listing: This is the fifth of five bikes that I?ˆ™ve owned over the years and it?ˆ™s by far the best I?ˆ™ve ridden. I actual consider it the perfect bike unless you are mainly riding on the interstate. but I?ˆ™m leaving riding for now. This scooter has been kept in a garage since I?ˆ™ve owned it. For those not familiar with the Burgman 400. this scooter is extremely practical for the following reasons: It?ˆ™s very comfortable and has great protection from the weather which allows you to more easily ride in the rain and in cold weather. (You get extra weather protection from the aftermarket windscreen and the built in fairing. Also. scooters have protection from the ground. unlike motorcycles: In the summer you don?ˆ™t have as much heat coming up at you from the street. and when it rains your feet stay dryer than on a motorcycle). No gear shifting to worry about. It gets roughly 60 miles to the gallon. A little less in strict city riding. but I?ˆ™ve gotten as high as 70 on the Blue Ridge parkway. You can ride 400 miles in a day. I rode from Norfolk to Charlotte the first day I had it. I?ˆ™ve been from Charlotte to the Blue Ridge Parkway and back in one afternoon. Excellent storage space with a glove compartment and two small storage compartments up front. Under the seat there is over 60 liters of storage (my medium full face helmet fits there easily along with a jacket and gloves and still has a little room left over). The top case has 52 liters of storage. You can also easily strap a bag on the back of the seat. There is an electrical outlet in the glove compartment. This scooter has excellent acceleration and I almost always beat cars from a stop at a red light without even really trying hard. The Givi airflow windscreen allows you to adjust the height of the windscreen. but not only that. it is designed to create less wind turbulence around you. The Admore lighting that was added to the top case really aids in making you more visible from behind.
