$14,861 spent on the motorcycle and parts alone!(I have all of the receipts, ndeniable proof). The restoration was done with my own labor over 12 months andisestimatedat $6,000 or more, o realistically the project ran a total of ~$20,000. I did the entire restoration myself except for.... The wheels, ickstand, earsets, tc. were sent out for powdercoating (black) at a shop in Carrollton, X. Exhaust was ceramic coated by a company in Arlington, X. Muffler can polished at a shop in Fort Worth. A paint shop in Dallas painted the bodywork and fuel tank with House of Kolor (Jet Black). The tires were mounted and dynamically balanced by "Plano Kawasaki Suzuki" in Plano, X.

Call me crazy for spending this much on a bike this old. I just love the look of this classic model and wanted to make it "factory new", ut with a modernpaint scheme and a few performance add-ons. It doesn't look old anymore, ow it's abrand new machine! The bike also has a new rear seat for a pillion passenger (not shown in photos). You remove the solo cowl, ut the rear set on and off you go!
