Suzuki GSXR 750 F 1985 - First year model - original condition classic slabside

The very first model 1985 Suzuki GSXR 750 F. This is a Japanese bike as very few were ever brought over to Europe (KPH speedo with 19K mileage). It is in good original condition and has not been messed with like so many GSXR's. Since I purchased the bike I have rebuilt the forks with new seals and replaced all wheel bearings. also totally rebuilt all callipers (powder coated bodies. new pistons and seals and EBC brake pads). I have also changed the steering head bearings and now it's ready to go.

It is fitted with a sort after Yoshimura exhaust system but it also comes with an original exhaust that is in very good condition (blasted and painted). The purests will note that it is fitted with the wrong heat sheald as this should have holes and not slots but this is a minor change (you can buy the correct shield on the internet). I have also had the seat professionally covered in black (they were red from the factory) but I prefer the look of black.

As it is a first model it has a fuel gauge but at some time the tank has been changed for a non-fuel gauge type. The bike comes with the fuel gauge fitted and also the sender unit if you ever wanted to revert back. I can supply the original tank but it was a little rotten.

The bike is currently not MOT'd or taxed as I have not had the chance to use it but should pass through no problem (I may be able to MOT if required).

The bodywork is in pretty good condition for the year and has minor scratches and blemishes in places.

The bike is located in Scarborough and can be viewed any time. I'm currently selling my collection to fund house renovation so will be sad to see it go. This one will only go up in value.
