1978 Suzuki GS550

Looks and runs great - no leaks, moking, r knocking. 4 cylinder engine and 6 speed transmission. It has 14,558 miles now but may go up because I do ride it as weather permits. All electrics work (turn signals, eadlight, rake/tail light, orn, ear indicator), s do the speedometer and tachometer. Engine cranks easily with the electric starter and kick start. Includes original tool pouch under the seat and owners manual. I had to install a used seat lock so there will be 1 key for the ignition switch & gas cap lid and 1 key for the seat lock. The fuel tank, ail fin (above rear fender), nd both side covers have been professionally repainted. New decals and emblems have been installed. Inside of fuel tank had minor rust so it was cleaned and a fuel tank sealer kit was installed. Both tires have good tread and have no signs of dry rot. Factory Suzuki parts replaced: oil, il filter, il filter gasket, il drain plug gasket, ir cleaner, aster cylinder rebuild kit, rake caliper rebuild kit, rake hose washers, aliper slide o'rings, attery strap, ll 4 turn signal lenses, rake/tail light lens, eft rear frame grip handle, oth side cover emblems, nd both fuel tank emblems. Aftermarket parts replaced: 4 carburetor kits, spark plugs, uel petcock rebuild kit, attery, eft and right chrome mirrors, uel tank decals, oth side cover decals, ear tail fin decals, nd seat cover. These bikes are getting hard to find in nice running condition. The bike is not perfect, ut really looks great and runs strong for a 1978 model. Although all the chrome cleaned up nicely, he front fender has a few dents on the front part, he left front turn signal stalk has minor damage, nd the rear of the right side muffler is scratched, s the last 3 photos show. The frame has minor surface rust in places. I have described the condition of the bike as honestly and accurately as possible. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
