Suzuki RE5 Rotary Engine First year 1975

This completely original Suzuki RE 5 is in excellent condition. The photos speak for themselves although it has sat in my shop for the winter (I will polish it up again when weather permits). The clear California title is in my name. I have not ridden or licensed itsince 1987. I have owned it since 1980. There is a small buckle in the rear fender where it was put on the center stand too close to the garage back wall; it caused the buckle that isnoticeable and does not affect the bike. The front hydralic brake lines have been replaced. The battery is new. The fuel shut-off cock has had the leaky factory diaphram removed and replaced with a diaphram that does not have the shut-off seat, o I added an in-line shut off valve. This bike has always had a very slight mid-range hesitation when using partial throttle,I got used to by just rolling the throttle past it. This does not affect performance. It idles well, tarts easyand runs great - like a 750. It sounds awesome and the exhaust has not been modified in any way.

This bike does have some minor oxidation as should be expected for a 41 year old bike. It is mostly around top of fork tubes and rear shock springs. Alum fork tubes also have someoxidation that can be buffed out.
