Description

time has come for me to sell this awesome fully custom Suzuki TL1000R.I mean custom from top to bottom. Nearly every piece has been touched in some way. This is a multi-show winning motorcycle with many trophies and awards to back up the bike. The bike is NOT a trailer queen it was ridden to almost every show or bike event in the northeast. I have owned the bike for 3 years and loved every minute of it, he previous owner that did all the work had it for 10 years. I am looking to start a different project and need the up front $ to get started hence the reason for sale. The bike was in nearly every issue of Super Street Bike magazine for 5 years. Super Street bike used it for their advertising. The bike has had 1 full feature in Super Street bike and 1 other write up about it as well. The bike has also been in 3 separate calendars over the years as well the most popular calendar was the center of the House of Kolors paint calendar 2008. As you can see the bike has tons of custom parts and one of a kind pieces that took 100’s of hours to produce. The bike has a one of a kind 240 tire swing arm that was produced for this bike ONLY No others exist like this one. It has a NOS bottle bracket built into the swing arm and has all of the axle hardware covered by custom plates. Even the rear brake is trick with a Brembo caliper. The rear shock is top of the line OHLINS, othing but the best. Rear foot pegs are replicas of a 9mm hand gun that are plumbed for NOS purge blowing out threw the gun barrels, ooks real cool. The NOS system was never plumbed into the motor just set up as a blow off purge system. Due to an electrical fault, disconnected the solenoid that shoots NOS, ut can easily be replaced if you want that feature. Included in the auction is a 2 ? pound NOS bottle. The bike has full SATO rear sets that are polished to a mirror shine, he Sato pegs were removed and replaced with my six shooter pegs which I made. The paint is a work of art.Even today the paint appears to be wet. It has nearly 4 gallons of clear and enough metal flake to paint a school bus. During the paint process after every 4-5 coats of paint the body panels were wet sanded smooth to achieve that ultra-smooth wet look. All wrapped in a beautiful layer of Candy Apple Red paint. All the paint materials are House of Kolors. The bike was wet sanded and hand pinstriped. Then the bike got 4 more coats of clear to protect the pin striping, t truly looks wet. The paint appears to have a candy shell over the top of it. there is nearly 4000.00 into the paint alone.Because the bike is a rider it does have some minor paint chips/scratches on belly pan. There is NO decals anywhere on the bike it is all paint. Everything is painted switches, nner fairings, nder tail, ront directional covers, ower chin fairing. The front ram tube covers and headlight bracket have been color chromed in red. The bike comes with STOCK front and rear seats.

The bike is turn key ready. It has good condition Pirelli tires and needs a new owner. I want to be upfront about a few things: The bike has a Texas “REBUILT” title. You need to check with your dmv office about registering the bike in your state. I am the 3rd owner of the bike and 2nd owner that did all this work, ot it from the original owner whom he knew very well. He received the bike with around 4,000 miles on it and it now has 24,500 miles on the odometer. The bike comes with a rear seat as well as the rear hump. The rear pegs are heavy so they are siliconed in the up position so they don’t bounce around. The paint has some minor flaws, t has been ridden I am not claiming the bike is perfect. Minor paint flaws and a small fairing crack under the rear seat cowl. I will include copies of the magazine feature as well as the calendar the bike appeared in.
