1986 Suzuki Cavalcade GV1400GD LX Ready Go Anywhere!

Here we have a completely refreshed 1986 Suzuki Cavalcade LX. For those that are familiar with these rare bikes, hey were the top of their class of touring bikes at the time....and to some degree, till today. This bike is a 1400 cc, ater cooled V-four putting out 112 hp. This bike sports such features as auto leveling suspension, n-board air compressor, lectronic cruise control, ully adjustable air bladders in the passenger seat and passenger back-rest, ear passenger audio controls, ntegrated intercom system, M/FM Cassette with external speakers or piped through the headset system and so much more. Accessories on this bike include tons of additional rear lighting around the lower bumper and the rear bags areloaded with additional brake lighting. The good news....everything I've listed works as it should.
Now for the history on this bike. I purchased this bike from the second owner as a true barn find. Covered in dust and dirt, his bike sat for at least 10 years without being ridden. Beyond tons of cleaning and polishing, personally went through every system and refreshed it. With only 43K miles on it, he engine, rans, nd driveline checked out to be just fine. So what did I do? Disassembled, leaned, nd replaced all rubber components in the carbs, s well as synced and balanced them. All filters including oil, ir, nd fuel were replaced, ew plugs were gapped and installed, ll fluids including engine oil, econdary drive, inal drive, lutch and front/rear brakes were flushed and changed. New front and rear brake pads were installed. New front and rear Shinko Tour Master tires were installed and balanced. A new factory matched main seat cover was professionally installed. New battery with maintainer lead was installed. Front fork fluid was changed. The previous owner had them rebuilt just before he stopped riding it. They work flawlessly and show no signs of leaking. Also included are the owners manual, nd tool kit. I'm sure I missed something...but I can assure you every system was inspected, leaned, djusted and assured to be functioning as new. You should also know that I've been doing this kind of work for more than forty years. While it is my hobby, do it to a very high level perfection. Bikes do not leave my shop unless they are right. Come and take a look....you won't be disappointed. What does it need? It depends on what level of cosmetic perfection you're looking for. While the bike looks awesome for a 30 year old bike....sure there are a few things that could bereplaced for cosmetic reasons only. These parts are readily available. However to me, he looks great just the way she is. Why am I selling? I do this for fun and I have too many projects stuffed into a small space. I have more projects ahead and need the space.
