2001 SUZUKI BURGMAN 250CC

For sale is my superb Suzuki Burgman 250cc scooter. I bought in from Ebay in May this year as an upgrade to my Honda C90. It's served me well. it's got me used to travelling on all types of roads. including motorways. and I've now upgraded again. to a BMW GS650. The Burgman is therefore surplus to requirements. It's been a superb. fun bike. it starts first time very time. it's quick off the mark and it will cruise all day at 70mph. I had brand new Bridgestone tyres fitted a couple of months ago and it had a full service on 29/05/14 including filters. oil. plug and plug cap. valve clearances. AND NEW BELT AND ROLLERS. All this was for peace of mind. I like to know my transport isn't going to let me down! That cost me £245. Receipt to prove. It's so easy to ride. and so comfortable. there's storage space under the seat for helmet and/or shopping/lunchbox. It doesn't knock/rattle or fart/splutter. it doesn't seem to burn any oil and it doesn't leak. It runs very quietly in fact. The only fault I know of is that the thermostat needs replacing as it doesn't seem to work. I had intended to have this done soon but the BMW thing suddenly happened out of the blue so I haven't got round to it. It's not a big or expensive job and it has had no effect on the running. although. with winter approaching. it would be wise for the new owner to get it done. It's got a couple of scratches on the rear off side where the previous owner caught something in his garage but. all in all. it's in very respectable condition for a bike of its' age. The mileage is in KM(see pic) but it equates to 28000 miles. There's lots of service history and M. O. T's to show it's a well looked after machine.  REGARDING THE TAX DISC. due to the new DVLA changes I cannot pass the VEL on. so the new owner would have to tax it themselves. So. happy bidding!

The boring bits: you bid to buy. It is sold as seen. I will require a non-returnable deposit of £100 within 48hrs of the auction's end. via Paypal. The rest by cash on collection. or electronic transfer. although I will not release the bike until any monies have cleared in my account.

If no deposit is paid within 48hrs I will relist. leave negative feedback and raise an Ebay complaint (sorry. but. once bitten. !).

I would not consider sending it by courier. so it will have to be collection in person.
