SUZUKI GS550 BOBBER BAR HOPPER CHOP HARDTAIL

Hi and welcome to the regretful sale of my much loved gs 550 bobber called lucky 13. She has been built over the summer months by myself and my mate ( top fabricator) to a very high standard. she is a one off build and if i say so myself a beauty.  Over the years i have built many bikes and the odd fast road mini and had no intention of selling her but unfortunately life has had different plans and loss of job means she has to go. i would much rather sell my bandit but lucky is not built for commuting but for looking cool. Custom made hardtail frame. custom wiring loom run through frame wherever possible to de clutter. she runs front and rear lights front and rear brake lights. rear led bates light with brake switch operated by a pressure switch not the old unsightly mechanical spring pull rubbish. lights can be run on side lights only or full lights with high and low beam. operated by two toggle switches on electrical box. horn wired in with bus type push switch and a 3 position ignition.  Almost all of the bike is new. new bearings front and rear new head race bearings. new brake pads all round. front and rear calipers rebuilt with all new seals. new fork seals and dust covers. custom made battery box. new battery. custom made 4 into 1 stainless exhaust. heat wrapped. new white walls front and rear. new la Rosa seat imported from the USA with embossed inca calender design (lush seat) brand new. all new fully adjustable front brake and clutch levers. new front and rear brake masters. new gold chain and sprocket including a really trick chain tension-er imported from the states. custom painted sporster tank with maple leaf and mottle design with gold leaf pinstripe and number 13 both sides. gold pin striping and lucky 13 decals(not lacquered so removable if not your bag). All new fuel lines. glass fuel filter. new breather pipes and a celtic cross gremlin bell to keep you safe.  Wiring loom professionally made with all joints soldered and heat wrapped for protection. original bte quick action throttle with new throttle cable and new clutch cable. custom braided brake lines all round. carbs stripped professionally ultra sonically cleaned and re jetted to suit pod fiters including 130 main jets. brand new jammers footpegs and controls. new oil pressure gauge and adapter and new cam chain tensioner. Full engine service including valve clearances oil and fiter change. new plugs. leads. caps and new dyna s ignition system. New bars and grips. and properly much more so check out the pics. this bike has been built with alot of thought and attention to detail. she is a true no frills old school bobber. i do have a speedo cable if you want a speedo put on her but i choose not to run one as i like the uncluttered look. Wheels all re painted and un marked. All in all a beautiful old school bobber never shown so if thats your thing i am sure you could get yourself a few trophies as she is always admired when ever i take her out.  Although i ideally need to let her go i will not take silly money or offers. this is a proper chop not a bodged up hack and deserves to be cared for. if she does. t sell or reach her true potential i will re think my options and keep her till next year and enjoy her for another summer. she will not be re listed. please no messers or dreamers and no over seas bidders feel free to e mail any questions and happy bidding.
