1987 Suzuki Intruder VS700

Took this bike in exchange for a car about a year ago with the intent on getting it on the road again to use as my daily mode of transport however due to circumstances I have been unable to put the time or money into it that it needs. It was originally imported from the USA and was registered in the UK around 1992 which means it has the unique chrome front mudguard. At present it hasn't been started in over a year and has been stored at the back of a friends place under cover. The battery is long dead and there are a few niggles here and there with the paintwork and chrome corrosion in places.  Things to note:- Chrome plating has rusted in places. - Rear brake light switch needs replacing : Easy job and the part costs around £5 depending where you look. I think I have one floating around the house somewhere and if I find it it will be included with the bike. - Dead battery. - No current MOT. - Decals on the tank : They were there when I took it on. They read "If its too loud your too old. " or something to that effect. - Fuel tank : Its not the original Intruder tank. its one taken from a 125cc marauder. surprisingly it holds more fuel. With these things in mind I am selling it as a non-runner but I don't think it will take much to get it back on the road. This also means that it will have to be put on the back of a trailer/back of a van. Sold as seen. I am not a mechanic. Any further questions feel free to message me.
