2003 SUZUKI SV 1000 SK3 BLUE

Hi and welcome to the listing for my Suzuki SV1000SK3 in blue.

I have owned this bike since December 2013 and have enjoyed my time with it. First v-twin I have ever owned but so easy to get along with. It has covered approximately 31100 miles and these engines are very reliable! I bought it originally as it was cheap to insure for me and great performance (£235 for the year at 19 with 2NCB). It comes with plenty of old receipts (including original bill of sale) and a selection of MOT certificates.

In the time I have owned it. it has had;

New battery in Feb 2014 (still under warranty)New gold chain and sprockets Feb 2014 Oil. oil filter. air filter. spark plugs and full coolant flush and change in May 2014 New Bridgestone T30 tyres in May 2014 (still got plenty of miles left in them)New Goldfren front and EBC rear brake pads in May 2014 MOT until end of June 2015 (only advisory was loud exhausts) No Tax due to new taxing laws in the UK

TRE mod

GSXR1000 K5 rear shock (great upgrade for any SV1000)

Datatool System 3 alarm and paperwork and AlphaDot markings

Stubby brake and clutch levers (inc. standard)

Stainless radiator and oil cooler guards

Blue Samco silicone coolant hoses

Front and rear braided brake lines (inc. standard rubber items)

Stainless twin race cans (inc. standard cans) ?ˆ“ sound lovely!

Tail Tidy (inc. standard)

LED Indicators all round

RING car horn (very effective)

Tinted double bubble screen

Braided clutch hose (not currently fitted but will come with the bike)

 

The only negative is that there is the odd scratch/stone chip here and there (what 11 year old bike doesn?ˆ™t have these minor imperfections). It also has a scrape on the front fairing on the LHS but this has been touched up. I have included a picture to show this - although it doesn't show up well on images as its covered well. Bike is HPI clear. This is an 11 year old bike so please bear that in mind. but I would say it is clean and tidy overall.

I am only selling as I fancy a change and am switching to an inline four 1000. I am after £2100. but I will consider offers so feel free to make any. Viewing is acceptable and encouraged.
