The Guinness Book of World Records shows the 1999 Hayabusa to be the fastest production bike built. (before they started putting speed limiters on them) and Cycle World magazine tested the Hayabusa and saw a top speed of 194 mph. Right off the showroom floor. It's got an unbelievable amount of power!

I made some light modifications for looks. I changed the original fairings (1st year copper and silver) all fairings and fuel tank replaced with spares. custom painted Purple with silver vinyl decals. I replaced the dog bones to lower it a little (easily reversible) Yoshimura RS3 slip on stainless pipes 4" over extended swingarm polished factory wheels Braided steel brake lines custom undertail Clear front turn signals Integrated rear turn signals in the rear tail light replaced foot pegs with GSXR pegs Fuel tank 1/2 bra (black) I bought this bike new in 1999 and it's my pride and joy. I never raced it or abused it in any way. It has always been garage kept.

This bike was never in an accident. but has been on it's side once. when a friend's girlfriend tried to be cute and decided to try to prove that she could flat foot it. She couldn't. Now. the bad part. Since I have not been riding much anymore. the front brake calipers are getting a bit grabby and i think they probably need to be rebuilt. That's it. (that and the light scratches on the side fairing and cover. ) This bike is truly an amazing machine. and I want to sell it to someone that will appreciate it and enjoy riding it. Please.
