1982 Suzuki GS1100E Good Condition Needs Engine Work Low Price!

Up for auction is a 1982 Suzuki GS1100E. This is the last bike left from the estate of a local motorcycle collector. This was bought by the previous owner with the top end off and was told that is what was needed. In the meanwhile he had the seat recovered and the paint done. The paint is beautiful!! The engine was put back together only to find out there is a noise in the lower end. The bike runs great other than that. It is a loud knocking at low idle and it does seem to change with rpm varying or with the clutch being pulled in or let out. I am not sure whether it can be crank related or transmission such as clutch bearing or main shaft bearing.  This bike has to go and reserve is set low enough that it is worth while to buy and fix an have a nice machine. This is an older cycle so it is not perfect. front tire new but needs rear. Please look at the photos closely and ask questions if needed. This bike is available for local pick up preferred and cash being best form of payment. Money orders or cashiers checks will need to clear before bike will leave which can take up to two weeks.
