Custom Naked 2006 GSXR 1000 12978 Miles Tastefully modded

Up for sale is a Custom 2006 GSXR 1000 with just under 13K on it. There are a few naked bikes made but each one is detuned or has inferior suspension . After owning an FZ1 and wanting a better naked bike I decided to start with a superbike platform. I wanted to build something wicked with an amazing power to weight ratio . I wanted something close to the BMW S1000R but with more lowend torque. The S1000R is 456lbs/160hp. the K6 GSXR is 444/162hp. That's a power to weight ratio of 2. 74!The 05-06 GSXR is the most sought after 1000 because of the low end torque and lightweight. It makes great power from 2K + unlike some other 1000's that have to be reved up to 5-6K to start making good power. I purchased a mint condition bike from an older pilot and rode it a few weeks before taking it apart. I had the bike professionally ( Samuels Auto) repainted Suzuki Blue and powercoated/anodized a number of pieces black for a more finished look. Knowing that the bike was extremely powerful I had a custom Scotts dampner installed along with more comfortable handlebars sinceI'm 6'3". My brother and others that are shorter have ridden the bike also and been pleased with the riding position.  A Euro FZ1 headlight was adapted and works extremely well. I put about 6K miles on it as a street fighter as well as a trip to Deals Gap. NC. Each and everytime I rode it I was impressed with the power delivery and handling.
