Suzuki GN250 1995 Black 4 Stroke Single Clean Ride Away Taxed and Tested

Mileage is 26. 92 at present but might increase slightly.  The bike is standard apart from the small chrome bullet indicators. The bike?ˆ™s in very good. clean original condition and in good fettle. Back end overhaul in April and lots of new parts. Everything on the bike works correctly. 90 mpg. All gears easily selected . Quiet motor. Smooth clutch. Starts on the button. Manual choke. Carb is standard as is air box & filter. New filter in April. No engine mods. Paintwork on the frame and yokes is very good throughout.   Swingarm serviced in April. New pivot bolt. Shocks replaced. The mainstand returns smartly as does the sidestand. Clean forks. no oil leaks. New fork dust seals. Some slight pitting top of one leg but above travel area.

Wheels run true and have good chrome. clean rust free spokes. New cush drive rubber (Suzuki part) and new rear wheel bearings and sprocket carrier bearing in April. Both tyres were new in April. Heidenau front. Metzeler rear. Covered about 2. 00 miles only. Front disc is clean and VGC. Plenty of meat on the pads. New brake fluid in June. New rear brake shoes. New DID chain and sprockets fitted in April. Recent new tank is excellent. Slightly modified RHS panel (covering battery. to secure it to frame with cable tie. Has some very small scratches. Seat is VGC. Engine has lacquered finish. Flaking slightly in places but presentable. Valves adjusted recently and two oil and filter changes since April. (1000 mile intervals. ) Exhaust polishes up nicely and is solid and secure. Chrome on downpipes has some pitting and underneath is showing some rust. but is still solid. 12V electrics. Electric start works perfectly. as do all lights. indicators and horn. New ignition coil in June. Wiring and switchgear is clean and tidy but the white writing has faded on the left hand  switchgear. New throttle cable in April. New Docherty grips along with brand new chrome mirrors. Speedo and Tacho work perfectly. good steady needles that don?ˆ™t wobble. Fasteners: Some are original and some have been replaced with stainless over the years. Copper and Lithium grease as well as GT85 have been used. The bike is not mint. it is 1995 vintage. so here are the points to note:

Handlebars polish up well but chrome is dulling slightly. Chrome on chain guard is pitting and rough n places on top. Chrome on rear mudguard pitted in places but still polishes up. Hairline crack through the idiot light console. Doesn?ˆ™t let water and is almost unnoticeable. Chrome on rear indicators has pitting on undersides. Owned outright. having been bought for cash. Frame and engine numbers match the V5. Two spare keys plus original. Taxed until 30 June 2015 and MOT until 16th April 2015. Stack of old MOT certs backs up the mileage.
