2005 SUZUKI SV650

 

With much regret I am selling my 2005 Suzuki SV650 Naked version in blue with the more desirable black frame. I have only owned the bike for a few months and I have loved every minute of it. It never fails to put a smile on my face. even coming off a GSXR600. It rides like an absolute dream. a very agile and fun bike. I purchased the bike from a elder gentleman who had it for his Sons first big bike. It was meticulously maintained by himself as he was an engineer. Regular oil/filter changes. Every winter he stripped down the rear linkage and headset bearings to clean and lubricate the. It's had a   brand new battery fitted back in may. its also had recent front brake pads (EBC HH). A full spec list is below. I am only selling this bike as I am moving on to get a KTM Enduro. if I could afford to keep both trust me I would!

Its a great looking bike. I have recently fitted a new Evotech tail tidy and an MTC carbon slip on exhaust. Its not too loud. just the right sound to make the V-Twin sound as it should from the factory. I have also completed the all important TPS adjustment. if you do a search on google you will find out all about it. It basically stops and jerkiness from the throttle and makes the bike 100 times better to ride.

The bike has completed 26455 miles. as Im sure you're aware these bikes are bulletproof and will go on way past 100k. Both keys are also present. There are the odd very minor marks here and there and the rad and oil coolers have weathered abit but this is to be expected.

There are no real issues with the bike at all. starts. runs and rides perfectly. The only niggle is that the ignition switch is sometimes a little sticky but once you get the hang of it its not a problem.

I will put a new MOT on it for the new owner as that runs out at the end of October.
