1975 Susuki 550GT Very clean for year. Complete and solid bike

 I purchased this bike 3 months ago as a save a classic project. She is in much better shape now after many hours of TLC. The pictures confirm a solid platform and base for a full restoration. or with a little work a great rider. Unfortunately a life event will force me to return to my country of origin. the UK. in February 2015. so I must sell her and the rest of my collection. See other listings in the coming days.

Purchased from a reputable local Honda dealer in running and ride able condition as a project. just needed a little. OK a lot. nbsp;of TLC. Awesome exhaust note. 1970's nostalgia.  The new owner will need to have some basic engine knowledge to fit the  new carb bellows and retime the ignition after fitting the new right side engine cover.

Condition

 Good condition for a 1975 survivor. Some minor rust on frame and headlight shell. Most chrome is in good shape. Exhaust pipes and mufflers replaced with very very good ones from a 1973 donor bike. The carb bellows need replaced. see pictures. NOS replacements include in sale($65). Right side engine cover needs replaced. semi polished replacement included in sale. see pictures($95). Would be a great winter restoration project. Runs and rides great. Currently the tank and carbs are drained.   Whilst the low mileage is unconfirmed it would appear to be in the right ball park.  

The 1973 donor bike is also for sale with a clean title. Mostly tore down to parts in boxes all cleaned up and ready for sale. See other listing.
