SUZUKI RG250 GAMMA MK 1 1983 PROJECT

The auction is for a MK1 RG 250 ?ˆ?A?ˆ? registration with V5 but with no MOT. This is the early single disc and non-power valve model.

I bought this bike 3 years ago as a non ?ˆ“runner with a view to a full restoration. but due to other projects it took a back seat. so it has to go. I need the room.

I stripped the engine. fitted outer crank seals and new pistons. The crank appeared to be in good condition. I serviced the forks and brake-callipers. fitted new chain and sprockets also a new coil.

The fork stantions are free from corrosion. The wheels have been stove enamelled and new tyres fitted. The body work. in Skoal Bandit colours has some damage and scruffs mainly to the left side panel. and one mounting lug is missing and filled in.

Lights. indicators and brake lights work but the rev-counter does not.

The exhausts are in very good condition and are fitted with original end cans.

The engine starts easily and runs but doesn?ˆ™t like it with the choke off. I have not got the time to sort it out. I have not had the bike on the road.  

The bike is complete and will make a nice winter project
