classic suzuki gsx750 es gs750 gsxr750 project full mot running

Hi. Due to a change in circumstances I am reluctantly having to sell my 1983 gsx750es. I bought this bike about a year ago as I wanted something interesting to tidy up and enjoy. It's just about done now - it still could do with a little tidying - repainting calipers and switchgear etc - but it's got a full mot and is ready to be used. Since I've had it I've had the carbs professionally cleaned. replaced the fork seals and oil. renewed the seals in the mastercylinder - all sorts of little jobs. It starts on the button and runs nice and smooth. Actually. the throttle cable went 'baggy' on the way back from the mot station - will fettle it this week if I get time - if I don't get time I won't. but worst it'll be is a new cable needed. The bike has obviously been looked after. but it is not a mint show winner. It could do with a little bit more tidying. although it's really not bad. It is totally standard apart from braided hoses and a lovely period micron 4. 1. And it hasn't been to the moon and back either! - I don't think 37k is bad for a 31 year old bike. I no longer have anywhere to keep it though so it has to go. I have started the auction ridiculously low and set a very low reserve too - so someone will get a bargain. So there it is - a decent. but not perfect bike. that just needs a few finishing touches. Hard work been done already and has a full mot. And they're getting rarer - especially decent ones. I require a £100 deposit within 24 hrs of auction end and the rest cash on collection within 7 days of auction end. Please do not be put off by my zero feedback - with my expartner (mistymoo17) I had 100 percent feedback on over 200 transactions. Bike is advertised elsewhere so can be withdrawn at any time. In answer to several people who asked - yes. the bike is charging ok. Will ask a friend to confirm this with his voltmeter before the end of the auction. Oh. checked throttle cable - cable seems to be fine. just needs adjusting - plastic end ( that goes into btm of switchgear is broken so needs replacing or some araldite). Rear brake didn't seem as good as it had been so checked it out and one piston is stuck so I guess a caliper rebuild is in order. Hope I'm not making the bike sound worse than it is - am just trying to be honest.
