1978 Suzuki GS550

my Suzuki GS 550. was first registered in South Dakota in the U S of America  in 1978 and was re-registered in the United Kingdom in 1993. I have been using the bike until recently but only doing around 50 miles per week on it. She fires up with no problem on any day. Unfortunately . I have lost one of the side panels . so. I made a couple of aluminium ones for temparary measures. There is a few scratches on the rear seat cowl which might polish out. and a small damage to the tank near left hand fork stansion. All the lights work. recently fitted new fork seals. chain and sprockets. Front mudguard is corroded at bottom edge and near left fork leg. Seat was recovered by Tony Archer (huddersfield ) two years ago and is still in good condition. Mot expired 24 /04 / 2014  Tax runs out 30 / 11 / 2014 ( but i have registered on sorn as insurance now runout ) There is roughly 21. 00 miles on the clock. of which i have put about 6. 00 on since 2009Collection only . nbsp; pay through paypal or cash on collection but no haggling on finished price. advertised elsewhere. so. reserve the right to withdraw from auction at anytime.
