2008 Suzuki DRZ400SM in Black

Reluctantly for sale is my 2008 DRZ400SM in the best colour. black!  I have owned her since the end of 2012 when she only had 3000 miles on the clocks. and I have only put on 1500 miles since then.  Since doing these miles the bike has not missed a beat. and whatever has happened I have soon put right.  She starts on the button with full choke and one twist of the throttle. to prime the carb. from cold (or stood for weeks on end) every time as well.  When she is up to temperature. she will start just on the button pretty much the first revolution and no revs whatsoever.  The oil has been changed three times since my ownership with a filter change during one of these services.  It is hardly ever used. purely because I never really find the time to ride her or the weather has been against me. it very rarely see's the rain and is washed and lubed quite regularly to maintain its sheen.  It has also been garaged or covered up during my ownership of it and I try to treat it with some level of respect that it deserves.  I have kept almost all of its original documentation from when it was at a dealership. along with a spare set of keys and numerous receipts that I have kept to prove some of the upgrades.  Even though it does not get used that often. this hasn't stopped me from getting more power out of the engine and improving its handling as I am one to tinker with things. slightly deviating from the standard route.  The mods I have done (all myself) are listed below:Full Yoshimura RS-2 stainless steel exhaust systemHotcam intake camshaft and re-shimmed to minimum specDRZ 'E' model exhaust camshaft also re-shimmed to minimum toleranceKeihin FCR39 carb jetted to suit (also with adjustable flexjet for fuel screw)PAIR valve removed3x3 airbox modRecent Putoline air filterLust racing 20mm jack-up linkagesZeta fork bleedersGoldspeed street sport tyres (rear one is practically still new. front not so much)Custom axle slidersColoured spoke wrapsRecent D. D chain and sprocket and C/S seal fitted (along with the sprocket loctite mod done)Zeta handguardsAcerbis supermoto front fenderTNT front headlight (original headlight included with sale)Tail tidy and smaller No. plateIgniton barrel relocatedMini indicators (currently not working 100%)Anodized red fairing boltsThe only bad points of the bike is a dent in the tank (pictured above) after I removed it and it fell over onto my tools!!!  The indicators flash too fast and one has water residue inside it.  It also has a couple of light scratches here and there but nothing you wouldn't expect from a 2008 bike.  It currently has no MOT on it because we do not require one over here. but I am sure it will fly through one (I might even take it in myself if possible).  I also didn't wash it thoroughly when I took these pics hence why the wheels look filthy!  But they do polish up real nice. The bike is super fun to ride and I guarantee you will not have much more fun on anything else!  Genuine reason for sale. I just don't use it enough and I think it deserves a proper life somewhere else.  I am open to offers. two smoker sportsbike. small (sub 600cc) sportsbike etc.  So try me.  Viewing will be difficult due to my location (Isles of Scilly) but shipping can be arranged at the buyers expense and collection will be from Penzance.
