Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit MK1 1997 Project

Bandit 600 project. I recently bought this as a winter project but after being handed a few more scooters to re-build I really can't see myself being able to find the time to finish this bike off. I bought it as a non runner and it has been off the road since 2008. so it does need a fair amount of work. however I have been able to get the bike running as to show it's new owner that it is a good bike to throw some time and money at.  I have just replaced the carburettors for a decent used set as the originals had been messed with by the previous owner and were so bad that they weren't worth reconditioning. I have also cleaned the fuel tank through and cleaned the tap out. I have fitted a borrowed battery. again. to show that it is a good runner but this battery won't be part of the sale as it's owner wants it back! It's always had oil in it and never seized etc. it has a good pair of Continental tyres fitted with plenty of life left in them and a nice scratch/dent free Scorpion end can. the whole exhaust is in nice condition. There isn't any play in the rear linkages/swing arm and the rear shock is good. A few negatives to mention are that the paint on the tail section and front mudguard is badly faded (typical Red) but the tank is ok and will polish up well (no dents etc). the rear light unit is missing but easily available for peanuts here on ebay. the brakes will need looking at as they are binding and it will definitely need front fork seals for it MOT but the chrome stanchions are in good condition. The lights and electrics seem ok although the indicators will need attention and obviously it will require a new battery.
