1997/P Suzuki GN 250 T Barn Find.
This is a NO RESERVE. Spares or Repairs Auction with a 99p starting price so the bike will sell from the first bid. The auction will run for 10 days. I will not stop the auction and there is NO BUY IT NOW so please don't ask. Good luck.
This Suzuki GN 250 T has had the same owner from new and is showing about 12. 00 miles on the clock it was last taxed. as far as I can tell back in 2001 and since then it has been in storage. I have given it a quick clean up so that you can see what you are bidding for and I've got to say it's quite a pretty bike considering.
I bought it a new battery out of curiosity. All the lights. horn . indicators. high beam flash etc all work. I gave the carb a quick rinse through with some fresh fuel and it started. although the carb does need a proper clean up as it's not revving out fully but there are no strange noises from the engine and all the gears select. The clutch will not disengage the drive so that needs looking at. I'm sure it's because it's been stood for so long. It needs a front mud guard (£25-30 on ebay) and both tyres need to be replaced and there's surface rust on the bars and cheaper chromed parts but the silencer and the wheel rims arn't bad at all. The exhaust headers need a weld in a few spots and to be refitted.
It's all quite straight forward stuff really and I think that this would make a great easy restore/fix-me-up or the starting point for a project.
Please have a good look at the pictures and ask any questions.
Best of luck if you have a bid.

I?ˆ™m in South Devon
I am located in beautiful sunny South Hams in Devon close to Plymouth. Exeter and Totnes. so handy for trains or Exeter airport. The roads are twisty and scenic. so why not collect and make a weekend of it. Ride stunning coastal roads or head up on to the moors and end the day with a good meal and a few pints of Jail Ale at the Plume of Feathers in Princetown (there?ˆ™s camping and a bunk house if you over do it!) Head for The Camel and discover the vineyard that beat the best Champaign to hold the title for the world?ˆ™s best sparkling rose. Don?ˆ™t go home without a mega brunch at Cap?ˆ™n Jaspers on the Barbican in Plymouth. nbsp;loved by bikers. sailors. later-nighters and. er. pirates!? Spend an evening in great company. alfresco at The Winking Prawn in Salcombe or spend a lazy afternoon at The Oyster Shack in Averton Gifford. Of course there are cream teas. pasties and some brilliant British surf. Great gastro pubs. beer and loads of B&B's. Most importantly you?ˆ™ll find a welcome from all the bikers in Devon and Cornwall which has the highest density of motorcycles per capita in the UK!
I?ˆ™m a Trader.
I am selling as a TRADER (this differs from a DEALER: I do not have a retail premises) with 20 years' experience in the trade. I managed a BMW dealership since 1999 (UK's favourite dealer 2006/7 RiDE Survey). Previous experience in a multi-franchise and a London Harley Davidson dealer.
