1982 SUZUKI RM125 RACE READY AND ALL NEW AHRMA EXPERT READY

1982 SUZUKI RM125Z .  This bike is set up to race the AHRMA 125 Ultima Class and Win !! This is not a rattle can restore but a blazing fast great handling well built by a pro tech that knows what it takes. I will go through what has been done to make her fast and reliable and ready.  The bike was a great bike to start with but with any motocross bike of this age you need to take it all the way down and start from scratch. that's what we did.  After it was disassembled we started with the motor. The top end had just been bored to 1st over so that was fine. We ported the cylinder and decked the head. We rebuilt the bottom end with new crank and bearings as well as all seals. The gearbox was perfect so we left it alone. We added Boysen Reeds and put a complete clutch in. The carb has all new internals and was soda blasted. We also added a DG pipe and a Answer Silencer (the hot set up). New steering head bearings.      wheel bearings. suspension bearings. All bearings replaced. New Sprockets and a new DID Gold Chain. The shock was taken apart and rebuilt and set up for a 195 lb expert rider. same with the forks. New air filters. all new cables and kill switch. New controls including a Gunner Gasser throttle. New seat foam and cover. New Bars. New Grips. New brake shoes. Brand new Dunlop Tires and tubes. new plastic and new wide pegs. I'm sure I'm missing some things but the bike is super fast and needs a rider only. This was Motocross Action's 1982 Bike of the Year!! It was way ahead of it's time.
