Suzuki RG500 Classic 2 Stroke Project Spares Repair not RG400 RD500

Very rare opportunity to buy a classic RG500 these bikes don't come up very often now. They just keep going up in value too. brilliant investments. Year 1989 imported into the UK in 1996. 3 former keepersThis is a project bike for restoration. You won't be able to fix it up in a weekend and ride it. It will require parts & rebuild to see it on the road again! I have had this bike running previously but I would not advise running it. until the engine has been stripped & inspected. Having said that it turns over fine & has been running before. There are multiple parts missing. including all bodywork & tank. The bodywork was almost all non original and so I threw it away. No tank included and the exhaust cans are not original Suzuki. The engine is not 500cc. it is a 400cc over sized bore to 460 or 470cc- don't know the exact size. To answer any questions and confirm the identity of the bike. This is a genuine RG500 with HM31 frame number. The engine is an RG400 bored out to a 465cc. The engine number on the V5 is also RG500 but this does not match the RG400 engine that is in the bike. My intention was to sell the RG400 engine and replace with a RG500.
