SUZUKI SV650 SV SPARES OR REPAIR PROJECT MINITWIN BARN FIND 1999 LOW MILES

1999 Suzuki SV650. The previous owner of his bike had a minor spill on it a few years ago after it had only done 7577 miles and it hasn't been ridden since. I have had the bike running but one day it will run and the next day it will not. I had the carbs ultra-sonically cleaned. changed the oil and filter. replaced the plugs and had her running. I balanced the carbs and put her back together but the next day she just refused to fire. I re-made most of the connections in the headlamp. checked all the electrical items I could check (throttle sensor. coils etc etc) replaced the fuel pump and she fired up again but the next day she refused to run. I have run out of time. money and space and I have another project I need to be getting on with and I need a bike to ride. I have refurbished all the brakes (fully cleaned. new seals and new pistons and bolts where needed) and it has a new battery. I had to replace the tank as the old one had rotted out (usual SV650 problem) but as you can see the replacement has a dent and a scrape. It has a nice gear and foot brake lever. the tyres are in good condition with loads of tread. I have the grab rail and the small side panels but they are not shown in the pictures. It comes with a spare set of ultra-sonically cleaned carbs (in bits) and a spare airbox. The bike is a bit rough round the edges but is solid. the engine (when running) has not rattles or rumbles and sounds good. The pictures do make it look better than it is. The bike is HPI clear and I have the certificate. The logbook is in my name. Please email me with any questions. I may consider a part ex on a cheap winter hack.
