Description

Welcome to my listing for my pride and joy. my Suzuki GSX-R 750 K6 on an 08 plate (Black and Maroon). This bike is amazing and still puts a smile on my face. even just to look at her. she pulls like a dream and corners just impeccably (which is why it was Superbike of the year in 2006) and will still give any bike a run for there money. in my eyes this bike is still one of the best out there.   She was my second big bike and what a bike she is. The reason I'm selling her is because I've only been on her a couple of times over the 2 years and thought that it was time to sell her as I don't get to get her out much any more and next year I'm getting married and some of the money would go towards that.  Most of the miles came in the first 2 years of its purchase as I only had a bike license. but when I got a car the bike turned into more of a precious toy and in the 4 yeas have covered a total of 2500 (mostly dry miles).  Chain is lubed every 3-4 months with the oils and lubricants being changes every 6 months / change of season (winter/summer) and she's been stored in a garage for the last 4 years protect from the elements.  When I garaged it I started cleaning her up like new. the first thing to get changes was the swing are and linkages so these are practically new. She's been MOT'ed last week and passed with only 1 advisory which is the after market exhausts. which the MOT guy said he dose it will all after market exhausts (October 2015).   Recently serviced. new filter. nbsp;oils and liquids all round. new battery and break pads and decent set of tyres with a lot of life left still in them (as showed in pictures). I have both keys with the Key code. all documents. nbsp;receipts that have.  She's been tastefully modified: Full Akrapovic System (no marking) with titanium header bolts  Power commander III which was mapped by BSD in Peterborough (which I have the print out) R&G fork protectors R&G frame sliders R&G tail tidy R&G Bar end sliders GB Racing generator cover  GB Racing Clutch cover GB Racing Starter cover  Pro-Fiber Carbon fiber frame protectors (based in Slovenia) Motrax aegis Carbon tank protector GSXR Yoke protector (Suzuki) Paddock Stand bobbins Bonamici racing Rear sets with Carbon fibre heel plates Brembo Master Cylinder with Titax leavers replaced about 2 years ago before the recallGoodridge Braided hoses Renthal grips Renthal Chain (X-Ring) and Sprocket Blue Silicone Hoses Blue K9 Wheels - much lighter wheels than the k6. I chose blue because I like the Aprilia RSV colouring for red and blue Black passenger pegs.  Tinted Screen.  There might be some parts that I missed off but you get the gist.  She will come with front and rear paddock stands if wanted (one is in the images). front tinted shield for the head light and some other bits.  Come look at her. if your serious about buying her I insist as. she wont disappoint.  The bike was a parallel import and was bough over from USA although I brought this from new from Taz Motorcycle (Now Wheels) in Peterbrough (I have the paperwork for this) (I wasn't told  that it was an American bike). the only difference from the UK models is the colour codes and the bikes temperature is in Fahrenheit not Celsius. all part numbers are the same.  Please if you want and more information drop me a message I can get more pictures and I have a video of the bike running as well. so can post this if needed.  I will say out of honesty and full disclosure. when I garaged the bike and while transporting it to her MOT inspection the bike fell over in the van causing a scratch on the frame (vans wheel arch) - the shop (St Neots Motorcycles Suzuki dealer) checked it out a found that it caused no structural damage and that it didn't warrant any fixing. This is the reason why I brought frame protectors so this would never happen again and will take them off to show the viewers. no other damage was done to the bike. Item has been priced to sell and is worth every penny so get in touch for a bargain.  Asking price of £4200 O. N. O. Am happy to keep her til next year so please no silly offers. The usual test-ride rules apply: Test rides are welcome with full asking price in my hand and proof of insurance to ride her. If you drop her. you've bought her.  I have advertised the bike elsewhere and therefore reserve the right to end the listing early if sold elsewhere.  Thanks for looking
