Suzuki TU 250 x. SPARES OR REPAIRS, Project, Winter Hack. NO RESERVE!!

S reg 1998 Suzuki TU250x for sale. No Reserve Auction. PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING. Ideal for newly passed bikers or those that require a winter hack to keep the summer bike safely locked away in the stables. This bike has been stood for a couple of months since the MOT ran out and requires a bit of an overhaul. There isnt that much thats needed for it to be roadworthy again in my opinion and as its a no reserve auction. it could be a real bargain for someone that knows what they are doing. I simply dont have the time to finish it having just too many other projects on the go. The bike starts on the button (even after standing under a tarp cover for a while) and runs well. The main issue is the exhaust "lug" that connects to the engine is sheared so will require drilling out to be able to fit the exhaust correctly. All electrics work as they should and the engine runs well with no overheating. The number plate will require replacing as its completely cracked/snapped. Battery cover is Red and held on by cable ties as the original flew off whilst going along a dual carriageway! Tyres are both good with plenty of tread. Battery holds charge well. This is a reasonably quick bike considering its only a 249cc and will easily sit at 70mph (even with my ample frame on it!!). I will throw in the motorcycle cover for the winning bidder.
