Suzuki GSF 400cc Bandit Japanese model - winter hack / project / commuter

Here for sale is my Bandit 400 import (Japanese model). Really nice looking bike. but bit of an impulse buy. I was hoping to keep it for my first big bike. but I've decided to stick to my 250 for now. as winter is coming. and I'm vertically challenged! In the meantime this poor bike is not being ridden. So it's time to sell. and I'm honestly gutted I haven't been able to ride it (restricted licence until a month ago). I bought it nearly two years ago. and since I've owned it. its been started regularly and hasn't been out in the rain once. Only been ridden up and down my driveway. The guy I bought it from had stripped it down and had everything re-sprayed and parts replaced. The paintjob was apparently the work of a professional. however when I topped the tank up with fuel. I spilt some and unfortunately the paint has flaked. I don't think it was coated with petrol resistant lacquer. The area where flaked is actually just small and central enough for a nice vinyl stripe and pinstripe. which I would have done if I knew how to do it well.  This slight cosmetic damage. and low seat height would make it a perfect winter bike for someone. Still really nippy (much faster than the GS500). - 1991 (G reg) only done 16000 miles- Lots of receipts of work done on it- Almost brand new set of Metzeler tyres- Powdercoated frame and rims (rims look beautiful in gloss white)- Recently had new exhaust system fitted. original Suzuki stainless steel part. Sounds good too!- Carbs ultrasonically cleaned- Really unique colour (paint shade from popular car manufacturer. so can be bought in Halfords)- Recent new inline fuel filter and hoses. - This is the Japanese model. which is superior to the British model; twin front disks etc. - Can include restrictor kit for a small extra fee (£40 to buy online) but I took them out as the carbs weren't to happy with them inReally sad to see it go. especially as I havent ridden it!Text me or call me on 07834281171 for more details. Also. with regards to running issues. had the carbs off and cleaned (more than once). new (top of the range) expensive spark plugs fitted. but have not tested compression.  It starts. runs. and pulls absolutely fine. but when idling. only idles on 3 cylinders.  Tank was rusty inside when I bought it. but we have used caustic soda solution and electrolytic technique multiple times. and it's also been coated. Does not look great inside still. but shouldn't be a problem any more. and hasn't flaked for 6 months for so. Carbs cleaned. new expensive seals from Thailand. but not balanced. maybe this is the issue?Shouldn't take long at all to find the cause. I just have too many other bikes to deal with :/
