Suzuki GSX 750 e 1984

Here I am offering for sale my 1984 Suzuki GSX 750e. I have owned this bike for just over 2 years. I bought it as a running project and have used it regularly whilst repairing it. It had a few advisories on the MOT but nothing too serious. The clutch was slipping so I fitted a Genuine Suzuki clutch kit. I replaced the odd mirrors which were fitted. I have fitted a new battery and new Bridgestone Tyres front and rear. I have done away with the fully floating suspension and replaced it with a very expensive Hagon mono shock. I have also recovered the seat. The engine is a little noisy but these units are bullet proof and it pulls like a train in all gears and handles very well. It is 30 years old and has a bit of rust here and there but nothing serious. I had intended to overhaul the front brake callipers as the brakes are a little spongy but they  do work well. The last MOT had no advisories. Bad points are as follows - There is a small crack on one of the side panels. There is a small dent under the name plate on the tank and the lacquer on the tank paint work is lifting slightly. I have fitted an adapted centre stand from a later model and although it stows properly I have 2 springs holding it up and it could do with the correct one fitted or you could do away  with it and use just the side stand. The baffles in the silencer rattle a little.   The instrument panel has been repaired as it was cracked and only one illumination light works. The gear indicator does not show 1 gear position but everything else works including the fuel  and oil temperature gauges. All electrics are ok and it starts well. As I have said this is a 30 year old bike so don't expect a beauty. Its been very reliable and never let me down. SO Why am I selling it. Well I've got hold of a 600 GSXf  which I have wanted for ages so I am selling it hopefully to a like minded person who wants a project. I haven't got the room  to keep it.
